At the center of Busines Builders lies our network of producers, who connect prospective buyers with our selected vendors.
For each sale brokered by a producer, the vendor pays a fee or a percentage of revenue earned to Business Builders. A percentage of that net revenue is then passed on to the producer, as described below.

John Smith, a small-business owner, signs up to become a Business Builders producer. Over the course of a year, he refers $78,000 worth of business to Acme Office Supplies, a Business Builders vendor. For each sale produced, Acme pays Business Builders a 7%* commission. Business Builders then passes on 40% of each commission generated to John.
John earns a total of $2184.
John also refers $50,000 in business to Acme Water, another Business Builders vendor. For these sales, Acme Water pays Business Builders a 7%* commission.
John again receives 40% of the Business Builder commissions, earning $1680.
Finally, John made some additional referrals to Acme Copier Services, resulting in $85,000 worth of business. Acme Copier pays Business Builders a 7%* commission on each sale.
John earns 40% on each of the commissions generated, totaling $2856.
For simply referring new customers to three Business Builders vendors, John has earned an annual total of $2184 + $1680 + $2856 = $6720.
